Little Birdie

Hi Everyone!

It's a brand new week in a brand new year and the Lindsay's Stamp Stuff team is back with some great projects today. We even have a new team Member...Welcome Tanya!

Lindsay herself, is hosting a challenge on her blog: Make a card using a digital stamp ( any brand...there are lots of freebies to be had, so don't be shy;) along with something recycled. She will randomly choose a winner from all who entered, and the prize is a stamp set of your choosing from the Lindsay's Stamp Stuff store. The deadline is midnight Jan. 7th. Just link your card in the comment section of her blog and she will pick the winner on the 8th. So fun and easy!

Wanna see my card? I used this weeks sketch from Taylored Expressions and my image came from the Love Grows set. Perfect digi stamps for the Valentine holiday and spring card making season too. My first recycled item is the bitty button on the bow. All of my buttons are recycled items which come from my Grandmother's button jar...there are tons too! I wonder when I will actually have to purchase new ones!?

The second item is the ribbon scrap which came from a birthday gift and got saved in my ribbon scraps for a later use, which ended up being today!

The Everything but the Kitchen Sink girls are hosting a challenge to use recycled wrapping on a card, so I am linking this card there. Also, Nichole Heady has a scrap challenge, so this is linked to her blog as well :) The bird image itself was cut out and paper pieced, but the beak and heart on the note were colored in.

Thanks for visiting me! To see more recycled item ideas, visit the rest of the team and enter the contest on Lindsay's blog...Good Luck!

Details- Stamps: Lindsay's Stamp Stuff, Paper: Martha Stewart, DCWV, Markers: Bic Mark-Its, Nesties, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder, button and ribbon from my supplies.
