Hive Been Thinking of You!

Hi Everyone!

I needed to make a card for a friend who recently moved, so I decided to ink up this stamp I bought back in the early summer from Hambo Stamps.  I just love this Tree Hive (2711) and since the challenge this week at the Hambo Hoedown was "dimension", I chose to color it twice and pop it up.  I also stamped the Tiny Bee(3114) and cut it out and added it on a pop dot as well. 

If you are wondering about how I managed to get the fuzzy dimensional pattern on the paper, it's a secret...Just kidding!  Totally bought it like that :)  But the line around the image on the inside of the Nestie cut out?  That idea I borrowed from Amanda, after seeing her do that on her card here.

And a side shot of the dimension and the glossy glaze I added to the hive:


Whenever I make square cards, I make them 4 1/4" x 4 1/4".  This way I can add something hanging off the card, yet it still fits in a regular envie.  Hanging off this card is the sentiment, "Hive Been Thinking of You." (2712)
