Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

May there be gold...

Hi Everyone!

It was glorious this past weekend for me; loads of sunshine and temperatures in the low 50's.  A true gift this time of year and I'm counting down the days until spring!  Until then...

I'm still ushering in St. Patrick's Day with my card share today.  It's pretty self explanatory.  Here are the stamps I used:

I had the sentiment already die cut, from a project that I didn't finish last year.  I added some sponging to it and then played off the word rainbow, and added a row of rainbow colored clovers.

Be sure to order your new stamp catalog today!

Happy Crafting :)

Happy Easter

Hi Everyone!

If you feel like you've seen this card before, it's because the one I made last week is very similar.  I decided to use this image for my Easter dinner invitations, so I stamped and die cut a whole bunch.  I thought I would make them as I felt led, rather than all at once.  I get so easily bored doing them assembly line style, so my goal is to try and vary things up after this.  My main goal is always flat and easy to mail :)

Here are the stamps used in the making of:

I added the row of gems for a bit of embellishment and called it done.

Thanks to you for stopping by today!

Two Plaids

Hi Everyone,

As shown by the themes of my cards today, I'm ready for spring!  I say, bring on the sunshine, flowers and all things cheerful :)

My two holiday cards, showcase a couple of plaids that I made using background stamps from DRS Designs.

Here the framed panel was made using the Open Plaid, along with the Small Happy Valentine's Day Greeting.

My Easter card has a panel that was made using the Large Original Plaid in yellow ink.

The other stamps used are:

You'll want to check out the DRS Designs store right now, because there's a list of retiring stamps.  You don't want to miss out on anything that's been on your wish list!

Sending you sunshine and smiles!
Karin
