Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Here is the sketch:

And for some inspiration, my card made with some Christmas stamps from the current catalog at DRS Designs.  I've decided to make a holiday card every chance I get from now on.  By the time the season rolls around, it always seems like I never have enough.

Here are the stamps I used:

Hello Karin,
Here a quick hello from Belgium. Yesterday I had some craftsmen here so I had to do some cleaning up in my flat. Now I'm bloghopping to say thanks to all my dear followers who left messages on my blog. I had a wonderful time in Germany and thought about you while I was loocking at the window of the Christmasshop. And now I see that lovely card you made. I love it.
Have a nice day!!!
Hugs from Oostende,
Karin

Great job with the sketch! I agree, it's always best to make holiday cards all year long--so much more enjoyable that way too!

Hi Karin! Saw your beautiful card on Make it Monday and just had to come take a closer look...it's just lovely! Know what you mean about having to explain the spelling of your name...always have to say "with an 'e' and a hyphen"! Ha!

This is a wonderful Christmas card! Yeah you for getting a jump start. I decided to try to make holiday cards early this year too. We'll see how long that lasts.

I love the design of your card. This would be a good one to "mass produce".
