This Changito the Monkey set from Stampendeous is so versatile and super high on the cuteness scale! The love ya bunches sentiment is from a retired Stampin Up set, but it goes perfectly with the bananas!
Welcome!
My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

A Simple Thank You
I love the simplicity of this card. The dry embossing is done with a Cuttlebug folder and I highlighted the raised portions by rubbing them with chalk. The image on the inside from Stampin Up completes the card. Another trick I like to do...round the corners on two opposite sides of the card. It just gives it that somethin' somethin' when a card you're making is too plain. Hope you spend a moment today thanking God for all that you are grateful for in your life.

Tea Bag Booklets
These charming tea bag holders would make the perfect favor for a shower, ladies luncheon or a child's Teddy bear tea party! I am making these for a craft fair, so I will be making a variety of themes. Such as, teacher thank you, get well soon, special friend... If you have a moment today, pull out that special tea cup that usually sits on a shelf or back of the cupboard and have a cup of tea. I know it will have you saying,"Why don't I do this more often?" If you look below, there is a peek inside the booklet...Enjoy the day!

A Passion for Papertrey
F.Y.I.- These gals are giving away some great blog candy...It is just a click away! Good Luck!
Drink Tags
At a party some time ago, these were provided to guests for their drinks. You know, write your name and slip it around the stem of your wine glass to prevent mix-ups. Well, looking at those boring things I thought, "I can do better than that!" So, look below and see what I made...Much more cute...If I do say so myself! Thanks for lookin' in today.

Teacher Thank You
I made this as a thank you gift for a special teacher. The green apples are embossed, and the star burst medallion is made with the scallop circle punch from Stampin Up. I punched the scallop and adhered it to a post it note to hold it steady. I turned the scallop slightly, and punched it again which makes the star burst. Thanks for visiting!

Sunflowers
It's vacation bible school this week at church, so it's a busy time. These were cards I made a while back with a borrowed stamp. (I think it came from Close to my Heart) The simple sunflower was fun to color and makes a great card with any type of sentiment. I love how "happy" the flower looks on the card....Hope your day is happy too!

3-D Birthday card
I always struggle to make cards that could be given to boys or men. I figured using primary colors would keep it from looking too girly and I could use it for a boy or girl. The card pops out when you push in the sides, but still fits in a regular A2 envelope when it is flat. Love that. I also put some sparkle on the candles above the Happy B-day, not sure if it shows in the photo.

Ladybug Card
Very First Post!
This blogging will be an adventure for me considering I know almost nothing about computers! I am hoping this can be a place where I can show off my paper crafts, but I have much to learn. We will see where this leads.....
