Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Cupcake Trio

Hi Everyone,

What's better than a cupcake?  Before you say "nothing", how about three cupcakes?  lol.  I could always use a little extra sugar, especially on a Monday, so these little cuties make my day!

The Cherry Cupcake image is from I Brake for Digis and I simply copied it so that there would be three.  Piece of cake. (Or rather, cupcake ;) )

The doily is actually a heart doily that I bought around Valentine's, but I hid most of it behind, so you really can't tell.  Gotta use up those supplies, right?  I added the bakers twine because it matched the theme and the button is there because it's cute.  My husband will always ask why this or that is on a card.  Like everything has to mean something.  Sometimes it's just for cuteness and that's reason enough.

You can save 10% off your purchase by using the code SAVE10KARIN when shopping at I Brake for Digis.

Have a great start to your week!

Challenges for this card:
Kenny K's Krafy Girz-Anything Goes
Wee Memories-All thing Adorable

Details not listed above-Paper: The Paper Company, My Mind' Eye, Copic, Punch: Stampin Up!, Twine: Martha Stewart, Doily:Darice, button from my supplies.

I love that your husband asks questions about your card, so sweet. My husband always opens the card to see the inside, even though 99% of the cards I make are empty on the inside.
Love all of the elements you added to the card, its yummy adorable for sure! Thanks for joining us at Wee Memories this week.

Oooh this is super cute! I love the design, papers, and most of all the heart-shaped doily. Cute, cute, cute.

The cupcakes seem the yummiest! The button looks so cute and the papers are perfect. The heart doily looks amazingly attractive and no one could tell it was a heart shape!!! Very clever, Karin.

You are lucky that your hubby wants to know why you put this and that... mine doesn't even want to have a look at them because he is so stressed out at the end of the day... lol!

xxx Monica
