Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Sketchy Cosmos

Hi Everyone,

I used my favorite flower image from the set Fancy Flowers from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff today.  I love this little sketchy flower for a general feminine type card. This card is for my stash, so I just stamped a small "for you" in the corner, so I can use it for whatever occassion I choose.  Since I can only do super messy stitching with my hand held sewer thingy, this is fake and done by hand.  Not perfectly straight, but you get the idea.

Here is the entire set of flowers:

Thanks for visiting me this Thursday and make sure you visit Lindsay's Blog for all kinds of crafty goodness...Hope the flowers are starting to bloom where you live :)

Challenges for this card:
Anita Be Stampin'-Anything Goes
My Grafico-Anything Goes
Sweet Stamps-For the Ladies
DDH-Stitiches
Paper Cupcakes-Fabric and Stitching
Details not listed above: Paper: The Paper Company, Cosmo Cricket, Ribbon: Offray, Punch: Fiskars, Stampin' Up, Copics, Stamp: Stampin' Up, Buttons and lace from my supplies.

This is so pretty! I like the layout and the not-perfectly-perfect (!) faux-stitching seems just right for the look of the card.
