Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Two Tags for the Price of One :)

Hi Everyone,

It's Hambo Hoedown time again, and this week the challenge is to use a tag on your creation.  As the title of my post suggests, I'm giving you two tags on my card today.  Little Wee Henry is on a tag and so is the sentiment which comes along with this adorable Thanksgiving digi!

I used some more of this fall themed paper from my giant paper pad.  I really have to start not buying 12" x 12" paper pads...They last FOREVER!  Oh, and let me share another obvious tip with you...If you cut yourself during the card making process, stop and take care of it.  Like with a real band aid and don' t bleed on your card.  I think I managed to hide my paper cut smear in the end, but can I be a bigger loser? lol!

And the pumpkins are Jolee stickers. No, I'm not that good.

I hope you can join us for the tag challenge at the Hambo Hoedown and if you live in the U.S., I would love to hear your Thanksgiving plans.

Have a great day!

Every detail is so likeable on this card. The paper is to die for, the embossing with sponging looks so becoming. The image is so cute and the sentiment made me smile.

PS: Take care of those precious fingers.

I love the texture of your card...not including the blood! LOL! I couldn't see any on your card. Who said papercrafting was safe?
I hear you with the 12x12 paper when only making cards.
Very cute card!

What a sweet image (love the coloring, too) and wonderful layers. Love how you incorporated the tag. All the details, embellishments, etc, or so perfect on this card. You always have a way with combining printed and textured CS. Wish I could do that so beautifully. Of course, I don't have an "i" in my name. Is that what makes the difference? ;-)

Oh such a fun card Karin! Love all the different elements that you incorporated. Funny about the DP - I almost got a new small Christmas pad today - but I picked up a snowflake die cut instead!

Well first of all, yes I do believe you are actually way better than Jolee and could make those pumpkins in a heartbeat! And secondly, I would have persevered and gotten blood on the card too so we can be losers together! Very cute by the way, love the layers and the little gems!

Could you be any more awesome?!! Nope - I don't think so! I love the tag team of tags and the awesome paper and ribbon you've teamed with it. You should've taken credit for the pumpkins....I was IMPRESSED ;)
I searched high & low for evidence of your mishap...is it on the right side of the image beside his piece of hair?! Seriously...this is like a game for me! HAHAHA
Awesome card, Karin!
