Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Shaker Card

Hi Everyone,
Well, I finally tried it and it totally worked.  It's a shaker card!
I won't go into massive details on how to make one, because they are spelled out so beautifully at Splitcoaststampers here, but all you need is a piece of acetate and some dimensional tape and you can make this happen too.

DRS Designs released his wonderful Confetti Alert stamp, and that's what gave me the idea for the shaker card. I punched out a bunch of little flowers for the confetti and put them inside the die cut . I used a piece of a Clear Poly Sheet from DRS Designs for the little window on my card and dies and a punches for the flower and the leaves.

The backgrounds were made using a couple of my favorite stamps, Easy Dot and
Interlocking Flowers. I added some epoxy stickers and some ribbon and lace for the embellishments.

Well, sorry I don't have any extra chit chat, but thanks for stopping by and I do hope you're having a wonderful day.

Challenges for this card:

Paper Take Weekly-Anything Goes

Details not listed above-Paper: The Paper Company, Stickers: EK Success, Punches: Stampin' Up, EK Success, Marvy, Ink: Stampin' Up, Dies: Spellbinders, Ribbon from my supplies.
