Hi Everyone,
The new challenge at the DRS Designs blog is "PLAIDS", so here is my offering with what else, but plaid :)
Two weeks ago a friend of ours had a double knee replacement, so I made this in anticipation of the surgery. Does DRS Designs have a stamp for all occasions or what? My friend is a he and not a she, so I thought this plaid challenge would be a good one to make a masculine card.
I used the Open Plaid for the background, the Woven Plaid for the center strip and the
Knee Replacement greeting for the sentiment.
A simple button embellishment was all I ended up adding to finish it off.
Don't forget the DRS Designs Stamp-A-Versary contest began this week. Please join us and you might win a huge prize package of stamps! Just click here for all the details.
Have a nice weekend :)

Seriously... a knee replacement sentiment? I'm amazed. :P Love how you were able to use two coordinating plaids in this great masculine card.
Great card, masculine is always so hard to do! Love the plaids and colors and perfect sentiment! ~Diane
Hi, Karin! I hope this time blogger lets me leave my comment - it keeps giving me a 503 error LOL - What a great sentiment, and really needed, in our get well cards. Love how you have color coordinated the sentiment with the plaid. I always forget to do plaids, and they make such pretty backgrounds - perfect for our masculine friends, too. Love those dots in your zigzag element! REALLY pretty card, K! hugs, de
How awesome that you can create the plaid in whatever colors you want! Cool stamps! I love your card and your friend is sure to appreciate it.
Have a great weekend!
Super masculine card Karin! Great sentiment too! Your plaids are awesome.
Wonderful card for your friend. Great sentiment too.
What a great masculine card :) Love the plaid
What a perfect sentiment for your friend. The plaid is great for your masculine card.
I love the colors and plaid. You did a great job!
Great plaid card. The sponging of ink around the sentiment just ties the whole thing together.
