Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Two cards

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to ink up my Fleur de Lis stamp again, so I made a CAS anniversary card over the weekend.  I chose a simple black and white color combo and stamped the ornament in each of the four corners using my Stamp-a-majig and white ink. Then I stamped the Fleur de Lis end to end in black ink and used an Oval Spellbinders die to cut it out.  This was after fussy cutting the tips, to make it fit.

Lastly I adhered the Tiny Happy Anniversary that was stamped and cut out using my circle punches.  Simple and elegant.

I mentioned my friend's 10 year old daughter in my post last week.  Well, the family came back from vacation and she brought us back a souvenir.  Her dad told us she picked it out all by herself, and used her own money to buy it.  Isn't that sweet?

Here is our new mermaid that is currently living on my craft table:

And Lindsey proudly told me, "She's totally made of REAL shells!...except her head." :) :) :)

So I did a CASE (copy and share everything) of Shelia and Janett's cards for a thank you card for her and the family.

These are the stamps I used:

So happy to be able to share with you on the blog today... Hoping your day is filled with smiles :) :) :)

Karin
