Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Cute as a Button

Hi Everyone!

Today the design team for Lindsay's Stamp Stuff is honoring one of our own.  Our teammate Tamara is having a baby boy, so today we are showering her with some cards made with stamps from Lindsay's store.  Isn't that a great idea?  Surprise Tamara!

I used the set Babies and Bows for my card today.  I love the color combo of blue and yellow for a baby boy.

Here is a closer look at the glossy effects I added to the buttons.  They are even better than real ones because they're easier to mail :)
The image panel and sentiment are up on pop dots and the patterned paper is from the Shabby Houndstooth collection, also found in Lindsay's shop.

Here is a peek at both collections:

Congrats again Tamara, I can't wait to see the baby photos!  For now, stop by and visit Lindsay and the design team blogs below for more baby card ideas!

Lindsay (See what surprise she has...)

Challenges this card is linked to are as follows:
Annabelle Stamps-Say it with a Bow
CES Challenge-Anything Goes
Sentimental Sunday-Clean and Simple

Thanks for spending some time at my blog today!

Details not listed above-Paper: The Paper Company, Marker: Copic, Ink: Stampin' Up, Punches: Stampin' Up, Ribbon and button from my supplies.

Hello Karin,
This card is also "Cute as a button".
I'm always surprised that the English language has such nice sentiments/sayings. If we translate them in Dutch it's terrible to hear.
As I live in the dutch part in Belgium I have to put my sentiments in Dutch, so I have not much options.
I wish you a very nice day,
Karin
