The new challenge us under way at the DRS Designs blog and this weeks theme is "Eat, Drink and be Merry!" One of the best motto's in life, if you ask me :)
I inked up the Picnic Basket stamp for today's card. It's a super image for this time of year, and frankly, I try to dine outside as much as possible when the weather permits. I love those little ants in the image...How come they aren't that cute in real life?!
I colored the blanket to match my stamped Checkerboard Background and the Better with Age birthday greeting paired with it to complete the card.

My eye was drawn straight away to the chequered teacloth so much so that until I read your explanation I missed the check background completely!!! Just shows the tricks the mind and eye play. A lovely card and expertly coloured.
