My dad is a big golfer and he looks forward to the card that I make him for Father's Day each year, because he knows that it will feature his favorite hobby. I love it too, because he's always amazed..."I don't know how you are able to make these things!" LOL! Without DRS Designs, I couldn't :)
I began by stamping Golfer Duff, coloring him with my Copic markers, die cutting and matting him. The background was made using the soon to be released Everything Golf Background (834H) and the Argyle Background and Argyle Diamond using a dark and light green ink. I added a plain piece of matching card stock to cover up where the two backgrounds meet and embellished using a couple of large silver brads from my stash.
The Small Happy Father's Day (827B) will also be released at the end of this week and that was stamped and colored in with a Copic marker to match the golfer. I then used my circle punches to layer it up and attached it with a piece of dimensional foam tape.
This also serves as a reminder that our challenge theme at DRS Designs is "It's A Guy Thing!" this week. Link up your creation right here for your chance at winning a group of DRS Designs stamps!
Here's hoping your day is "Par-fect"!
