Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Book Club Selection

Hello my fabulous friends :)

No card from me today because I have book club this week and guess who is only half done with this months selection?  Yes, I'm behind.

I've also been busy making some ornaments for a church event, so I hope to show you those closer to Christmas time.  Anyway, this is our book this month.  If you never read it in high school or even if you have, read it again.

Awesome.

Why can't everybook be this good?

Just to say "Hello Karin"
Reading books is a nice way to pass the winter. Cosy by the fire, legs up and a hot chocolate.
Have a nice day !
Greetings from a stormy Oostende,
Karin

You remind me that I keep telling myself I should read some of the classics instead of turning to mindless, brain candy. Thank you for the reminder.

I agree! Such a good book. I'll have to add that to the re-read list =)

I love this book and just reread it recently. I rarely reread anything but there are a few books that I enjoy reading over and over and this is one of them.

Ah Karin,
One of my all time favorites - this was one I taught in my HS English classes, so has a soft spot in my heart!

Now...are these the SAME Christmas ornaments? Don't tell me these are possibly more? Nah...must be the same kazillion you had to make last week right?
