Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Eat More Beef

Hi Everyone!

The countdown to the biggest meal of the year has begun, and time is running out for this turkey featured on my card today.  It's one of the new releases from DRS Designs and the stamp is named...are you ready? Poultry Propaganda!  Isn't that cute?  He sure is working hard making a case for anyone but himself...lol.
I colored him in with pencils for a change, and paper pieced the sign he is holding.  I used gold colored paper, so that it would match the background that was created using the new Hay Bales stamp. The last thing I added to this card was some embossed lines around the edges of the card.

Well, no extra chit chat from me today...You can check out the entire collection of stamps at DRS Designs and even though my card is here today, we post a new card everyday at the DRS Designs blog!

Challenges this card is linked to are as follows-
ABC Challenge-H is for Holidays
Fuzzy Wuzzy-Animal and Holiday
Stampavie-Monochrome
Sentimental Sunday-Thanks or Thanksgiving
Details not listed above-Paper:The Paper Company, Ink: Stampin' Up!, Versafine, Pencils: Koh-I-Noor, Nesties, brads from my supplies.

Hello Karin,
Here in Belgium it is 10h30 AM. So I have to go to the butcher to buy meat for my eveningmeal. You gave me, with your cute card, the idea to make our traditional dish: French fries and steak. I'll think of you this evening, hi,hi.
Have a nice day.
Greetings,
Karin
