Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Lady Scarecrow

Hi Everyone!

Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving, I thought I would roll out one of the last fall themed cards that I haven't had the chance to post yet.

This sweet Scarecrow Lady is from DRS Designs.  I colored her with Copics and then cut her out and layered her on top of the background that was created using the Hay Bales stamp.

The Scarecrows and Corn Rows greeting adds the just the right sentiment and the orange ribbon matches the ribbon on her hat.  Check out all of the stamps that DRS Designs has to offer right here.

Also, mark your calender for DRS Designs Blog Slide happening on December 1st!

Just click here for the details, but you will want to spread the word.  The more entries that are received, the more prizes that will be given away!  Woo hoo...Yay for prizes!

Are you ready for the biggest meal of the year?? Love, love, love Thanksgiving, and I hope all those in America have a happy feast with family and friends.

Challenges this is linked to are as follows:
Details not listed above- Paper: The Paper Company, Ink: Stampin' Up!, Ribbon from my supplies.

Hello Karin,
I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving for tomorrow.
This a day we don't have (celebrate here in Belgium.
I love that little Scarecrowlady. She's so cute.

Thanks for the lovely comment on my book card. I loved making it. It will be a little present for my grandchildren. I hide a surprise in it. One of them (19year) loves "Pandora beeds". And the other one (13 year)loves crafting, so there will be small craftingstuff in it.
I wish you a nice and perfect day,
Greetings,
Karin

What delightful work with this wonderful scarecrow and sweet autumn poem!! Reminds me of my days teaching kindergarten when we would recite such poems to welcome in a new season!

Wishing a blessed Thanksgiving to you and yours, Karin!
