Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Worm Wishes

Hi Everyone,

There was a fun challenge posted at Splitcoast Stampers yesterday, so I thought I would play along.  The challenge was to use polka dots...Do you think I used enough? lol.

This darling little worm (Worm Balloon #2510) and matching sentiment (Worm Wishes #2501) are new stamps that I received from Hambo Stamps and I couldn't wait to ink them up.  I decided he would be perfect for this card, because I could even dot up the balloon using my colorless blender pen.  The messy stitching was done using my sew quick.  Another fun card for my birthday stash!

Thanks for dropping in today.  TGIF...Do you have any big plans for the weekend?  I will be seeing my best friend tonight, so that is always something to be happy about!

Other challenges for this card:
Meljens-Animals
4 Crafty Chicks-Stitching
Aud Sentiments-Birthday
Pixi Dust Studio-Polka Dots
Rubber Cafe-Stitching
Cute Card Thursday-Signs of Spring (Worm!)
SCS-Ways to Use It -Polka Dots

Details not listed above-Paper: The Paper Company and unknown source, Ribbon: Darice, Ink: Versafine, Copic Markers, Punches: Stampin' Up!

LOL!! This is really funny because tonight as I was getting my son ready for bed, he crawled behind the rocking chair and saw a tiny worm. He backed away and said, "Ewww, Mommy, snake!" I thought he mistook the cord for the lamp as a snake but then he crawled back to look and said, "What that?" I took a closer look and got the shivers.

Wow, I just rambled on there! Anyway, back to your card. I think it's super cute, Karin! The red stitching is fabulous. Thanks for the smiles! :D
