It's Sparkle N Sprinkle's "My Favorite Technique" blog hop, and I'm thrilled to show off my cards. Both of my cards today feature Paper Piecing. While I don't know if it's my favorite technique of all time, it sure is one that I enjoy doing because I really love the end result.
Here I used some of my background paper on the bunny's dress. I think it really pulls the whole card together. I also added a die cut flower made from Sticker Paper (99558) and Shell Pink (#G1022) and Evening Glow (#G1086) Glitters, along with a
1/2 strip of Tear-iffic Tape(#SAT04). The bunny is from the set
Star Bunnies (#214) and she's such a cutie!
I just loved each and every bunny in that stamp set, that I had a hard time choosing a favorite, so I just went ahead and made a second card with a different stamp from the same set. This time I paper pieced the dress using Sticker Paper (99558) coated in Cloud Nine Velvet Glitter (#GM2000) and colored it with a Copic marker to match my patterned papers. The sentiments for both of these cards came from the set Just for You (#444s)

I always forget about paper piecing and it's such a neat technique to do. Love how you used both paper and glittered sticker paper to acheive the same, but yet different results :)

Gee, Karin, How ironic that the "i" for paper enjoys paper piecing! LOL FABULOUS cards. I always forget to do the paper piecing, and it is a great look - always looks smart and classy. I have never done paper piecing before although I am hearing a lot about it on FB and blogs. I believe it is time for me to get out of my comfort zone and give it a try! I love your Bunny girl's dress! Beautiful color and she is so sparkly!!!

Hi Karin, these are both so CUTE. I could not pick one. Such awesome colouring. I have a card you sent me and the colouring is so good on that so I do now how well you colour. The bunnies are lovely. And the paper piecing looks so nice. The glitter on the second one looks so glam. I must try paper piercing.
