Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

A Winter Wonderland

*If you would like a chance at my blog candy, click here.*

Hi Everyone,

I'm popping in today with a holiday card for you, which hopefully will whet your appetite for the upcoming Magical Winter Moments blog hop, brought to you by Sparkle and Sprinkle.  Mark your calenders, because September 22nd will be here soon!

Since I had this big bold solid Pine Forest (3379-414P) stamp from the set Winter Swirl (414) I used the emboss resist technique for my card today.  I know I've done this technique before, but this was the first time I used White Detail Embossing Powder (EP298) instead of clear, and boy do I love the results!

I also used  the following stamps from the same set to create the card:
Snowflakes (3383-414A)
A Winter Wonderland (3388-414AA)

For further details, I will send you over to the Sparkle and Sprinkle blog, because it's my first day featuring one of my cards over there!

Thanks for stopping by....
