Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Challenges

Hi Crafty People!

This first card may be stretching things a bit, but I was trying to be creative and to use what I have in my stash. As you can see by the picture, the challenge at EBTKS is to use fabric on a card. Well, not being a sewing type person, I don't have any fabric beyond ribbon and felt. So, felt it is.
The fun and funky paper on this card is cut from a single piece that had different patterns on it, and the the little apple is my felt/fabric element.Pretty simple; I love the fun bright colors.
This card is the card that I made for the eyelet challenge last week on the CARDS Blog and to my surprise, it was chosen. It was the first time I have ever submitted anything, so yay for me! You can see it there if you want, or just look at it here.

These are also linked to the following challenges:
OOh-La-La Creations-Anything goes
Rosie D's Challenge-Think Spring

Thanks for stopping by today...Have a good one!
Details-Stamps: Hero Arts, PTI, Paper: The Paper Company, K I Memories, Ink: Stampin' Up, Rhinestones, ribbon, felt, and eylets from my supplies.

Hi Karin, I don't know how I missed these when you posted them. All I can say is that I am behind.

The top card is very cute. Like you, I like the bright colors. The little green apple is perfect (I think it qualifies, but what do I know since I don't sew either.)

I think I already congratulated you on your second card. I love the eyelets - very cool.
