My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Jingle All the Way

Good Monday Morning!

Today I'm so happy to finally be able to post a card made with brand spanking new DRS Designs stamps.    How new are they?  They are so new that this only counts as a sneak peek, because the day they are released for purchase is August 21st...It's hard to be patient, believe me I know!!

The stamps used on my card are as follows:

Jingle Bell Background
Bells and Bows
Jingle All The Way
The background was stamped in Versamark and then embossed with clear powder.  I love that effect.  The main image was colored with Copics and I dry embossed a piece of Coordinations card stock and then sanded over it lightly to bring out the color underneath.

Here is a close up of the embossing and the dimension I added by popping up the big ribbon.

Well, short and sweet from me today.  Don't forget tomorrow is the Blog Hop and Scavenger Hunt at DRS Designs, so make sure you stop by my blog for that.  You will see lots of ideas for Christmas cards along the way, as well as a chance to win the new, not yet released stamps for yourself.  Yay!  Who doesn't love a prize right?

Have a good day and see you tomorrow!

Challenges this card is linked to are as follows:
Penny's Challenge-Anything Goes

Details not listed above-Ink: Momento, Stampin' Up, Paper: The Paper Company, ribbon from my supplies.

I love that card! The added dimension of the embossing and the ribbon really make it pop! And what a great idea to make it a tag on a card! Too cool! TFS.~Diane
