My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Hi Everyone!

I'm here to tell you that you have two ways to win some DRS Designs stamps.  The Stamp a Day Giveaway is still going on this month at the DRS Designs blog.  All you have to do is leave a comment at the DRS Designs blog, and then check back tomorrow to see if you were the randomly chosen winner.  Easy as pie :)

DRS Designs is also the sponsor this week at the Card Patterns Sketch blog.  If you play along and link up your card using the sketch below, you have the chance to win a $20.00 voucher to DRS Designs.

Here is the sketch:

And for some inspiration, my card made with some Christmas stamps from the current catalog at DRS Designs.  I've decided to make a holiday card every chance I get from now on.  By the time the season rolls around, it always seems like I never have enough.

Here are the stamps I used:

Thanks for dropping by and remember to comment at the DRS Designs blog for your chance to win the stamp of the day!

Hello Karin,
Here a quick hello from Belgium. Yesterday I had some craftsmen here so I had to do some cleaning up in my flat. Now I'm bloghopping to say thanks to all my dear followers who left messages on my blog. I had a wonderful time in Germany and thought about you while I was loocking at the window of the Christmasshop. And now I see that lovely card you made. I love it.
Have a nice day!!!
Hugs from Oostende,

Great job with the sketch! I agree, it's always best to make holiday cards all year long--so much more enjoyable that way too!

Hi Karin! Saw your beautiful card on Make it Monday and just had to come take a closer look...it's just lovely! Know what you mean about having to explain the spelling of your name...always have to say "with an 'e' and a hyphen"! Ha!

Hi Karen, saw your card on MIM and it has reminded me that Christmas is only 6 months away, I better get crackin'!

Antonella said...

Oh no... I haven't even thought about Christmas cards - lol... Love your card! I've linked over from MIM where I've also linked up, pop on by if you get a chance.

This is a wonderful Christmas card! Yeah you for getting a jump start. I decided to try to make holiday cards early this year too. We'll see how long that lasts.

I love the design of your card. This would be a good one to "mass produce".
