Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

RIP Tiger

Hi Everyone,

My card today is super simple.  If you read my blog, you know that I was helping my mother-in-law care for my niece's sick cat while they were on vacation tis summer. ( You can see me mention Tiger here.)  Well, the dreaded day came last week, and Tiger passed away.  He was at home with his family, and the girls hadn't left for college yet, so I guess it was as good as it a sad situation could get.

I knew I had to make a quick card for them, so I pulled out these great DRS Designs stamps.  It is really CAS, but for this sad occasion, I think simple works.  I used the Pet Sympathy stamp and Small Cat Print for the outside...

And the Loss of Pet Sympathy Greeting and Cat Angel for the inside...

Thanks for vistiting today, and know that the DRS Designs design team is hard at work making samples with the soon to be released Halloween stamps.  If you want a peek, visit the DRS Designs blog...You will not be disappointed!

Have a great day!

Such a stylish card. LOVE it to bits and I am sure it brought comfort to your niece. It is not easy to bear the loss of a pet.

Always look forward to your creations.
The inside of the card is lovely as well.

I think CAS works the best when working with a sympathy card. You have made a very nice one too, and I think it is perfect. Sorry to hear about Tiger though.
