Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

My Year in Review and Winner

Happy New Year!

Thank you so much to everyone who linked up these past few days and shared their top card choices for the 2011 calender year.  When I thought of doing this at my blog, it was a real of the moment idea. I had no idea what kind of response I would get, so let's just say I was completely overwhelmed. What a great way to wind up the year.  It was wonderful visiting you and I hope you had fun looking back as well.

Now, after visiting your blogs, I'm completely blown away by the vast amount of talent out there.  I know we all have our favorite designers that we visit over and over, but the same amount of talent is out there amongst the masses.  I know, I just witnessed it in this hop.  So before we get to the winners of the hop, I humbly present, in no particular order, my personal picks for my favorite cards of the year.

Oh, Karin, how could you choose just twelve? I think my favorites are the Amber Ink--I love all the red and pink together, and that tray full of hearts is too cute--and the Hambo Thanksgiving card-I love that image and the fun layout you used!

Thanks for hosting the blog hop this year--it was so much fun seeing everyone's favorite creations and adding some new blogs to the reader!

Wowee, Karin! I don't know how you chose from all of your crafty goodness, but you did pick some of my faves, too. I love the buzzillion card, plus all of your three holiday picks, the fabulous bike card and your amazing AI hostess....and what's not to love about that sparkle filled birthday. Oh you really had a fabulous year of craftiness!

Thanks for inspiring all year long, my friend! Hoping your new year is the best yet!!

I love your cards and your style Karin! I would have a hard time picking just 12 cards. You picked some beauties. I love the card from Amber Ink. Something about this image makes me think of you when I see it. (Maybe because you have showed it off to perfection several times.) Happy New Year!

Thank you for being our hostess for this wonderful blog hop.
