Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Cherry Topped Cupcake

Hi Everyone,

DRS Designs is sponsoring the challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations this week, so I wanted to play along to support them. And the the inspiration photo is super cute :) Join in and you will have the chance at a $ 10.00 voucher to the DRS Designs store.

Here is the photo:

And here is my card:

I went for a CAS look and used a cupcake embossing folder for the background. I stamped the Cherry Top Cupcake and the Sweet Birthday Greeting and die cut it using my rectangle Spellbinders die. I colored the image with my Copic markers and added some glitter glue to the frosting and cherry. I added bakers twine and attached my matted panel to the card with foam tape. A few gems finished it off.
Don't forget you also have a second chance to win a $10.00 voucher to the DRS Designs store by joining us in our Thursday challenge. This week's theme is Lovely Hearts!
Good Luck!
