Hi Everyone,
I think I bypassed spring all together and went
straight to celebrating summer with my card today :) I'm taking a break from my
spring and St. Patrick's day cards to share a birthday card on the blog
today.
Yellow, red and green are a favorite color combo for me, as they always scream cheerfulness to me. Just what I need as were coming out of the long, cold winter. Good news too! All of the stamps I used today can be found in the current catalog at DRS Designs, so you can color up some lady bugs and cheer yourself up too.
The background was made using the Splatter Background stamp and some white embossing powder. I colored up the Ladybug border and Ladybug with Flower stamp with my Copic markers and added the Happy Birthday from the Birthday Flower Circle by punching out the sentiment and layering it on some punched scalloped circles.

I rounded the top corners of my card and image to soften the look and added some
yellow glitter glue to finish it off.
And.....Bonus card!
The Cupcake Inspirations challenge blog is in the midst of celebrating their 300th challenge and
DRS Designs is one of the sponsors. There are 3 inspiration photos to choose from to play along,
so you'll want to pop over there for all of the details.
Here is my card that I made using the Confetti Alert stamp to support their celebration.

Here is my card that I made using the Confetti Alert stamp to support their celebration.
I saved a bunch of scraps from my border punches and adhered the "confetti" with a strip of sticky tape and glue pen for the cascading ones. The bottom of the card was painted with ink and my water color brush.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out our current "Button" challenge here at the blog too! So many ways to be in the running for a prize from DRS Designs!
Have a great one!
