Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Happy Earth Day

Good Morning!

I really wanted to make something special for Earth Day...but I ran out of time :) So, instead I'm posting a card that I made for my stash of birthday cards. It has cheerful spring flowers and fits a few challenges, so it's all good, right? You've seen this paper in previous posts, but I love the cheerful colors just as much as ever. This cute set of stamps from PTI is really a favorite of mine, because you really can't make a bad card with the button paring images it contains.

I do, however, feel bad not posting something more extraordinary for the gals over at A Passion for Papertrey. It has been forever since I played along in one of their challenges, and well, let's face it, their stuff is always extraordinary.

Well, that's it for me. Happy Earth Day and if you are a sports fan/basketball fan, I have to say it, "GO CAVS!"

These are the rest of the challenges this card is linked to:

Belli Challenge-Die cuts
Alys Stampin Challenge-Buttons
Magical Crafts-For the Girls
Penny's Paper Challenge-Anything Goes
Stampin Sisters in Christ-Flowers
Pile it On-Finally Spring

Details not listed above-Ink: Stampin' Up!, Nesties, Paper:The Paper Company, Me & My Big Ideas.

WHAT?!?! This is awesome, Karin! Such springy goodness. Awesome job - and perfect sponging. I really do love those stamps, too....must get some of my own because you're right - there's nothing as awesome as buttons on images!
