So, I made this card last weekend, with the intention of saving it to show off closer to Father's Day (it's in June here in the U.S.), but the ladies at The Sisterhood posted a Scotland challenge. What can I say? You will just have to remember this idea for a couple of months from now. I did.
This is by no means my idea, I saw this probably two or more years ago somewhere on Splitcoast (thanks whoever you are!) and have been wanting to replicate it since that first moment. My Dad's only hobby is golf, so this was a perfect idea for him. It just took me that long to find stickers that I could use for the shoes. LOL!
The pale blue background has clouds stamped on it, (I don't think they show up in the photo) the pants were cut from plaid paper, but everything else is stickers.
Then I come across the Scotland challenge about incorporating plaid, and golf is also associated with Scotland (St. Andrews, etc...), so I was all excited to post this today. I love it when stuff works out and when ya weren't even trying.
Thanks for the visit and hope there is something exciting about your day today!
