Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

World Animal Day Blog Hop

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to Sparkle N Sprinkle World Animal Day Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from Karaee's blog, but if you didn't, make sure you start at Sparkle N Sprinkle so you don't miss out on the fun and prizes!  Remember to comment along the way :)

Today we are celebrating animals of all kinds in our hop, so I'm thrilled to show off these darling penguin stamps to you today.  They are from the set Playful Pengies(438) and my first card is a Tent Topper card.  My patterned paper had lots of silver in it, so I used piece of Sticker Paper and covered it in Sassy Silver glitter and some Sparkling Snow Glitter was used to make the snowflake Sir Pengie was holding sparkle.  Step by step instructions for duplicating my card can be found right here

You didn't think I was going to stop there, did you?  I have another one to show off...lol!

Isn't this couple named Mr. & Mrs. P adorable?  After coloring them with my Copic markers, I knew they needed some "ice" to stand on.  I pulled out my Brushable Glue and Moonrise Glitter Tinsel to make that happen.  It's much "chunkier" than traditional glitter, so that's how I got that great effect under their feet!

I stamped and embossed the swirls in Limelight embossing powder right on top of my patterned paper.  Again, full details can be seen by clicking here.

Are you ready to see more?  Off you go to Marie's fabulous blog!

Enjoy the rest of the hop, and if you need the full list, here it is below.

What a spectacular background glitter creates! I imagine this card outshines all the others with the glistening splendor of Sassy Silver Glitter! (I love that color!) Mr & Mrs P are darling with all the wintry feels of your green and red card, garnished with glitter, of course! Thank you, Karin!

Love, love, love all the sparkle and glitter! Fabulous papers, too. The penguins are so adorable -- my favorites for Christmas or winter cards. The top hats are perfect on those penguins, dressed in their tuxedo-finest, black and white. :-)
