Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

I Love Digi Challenge #1 Think Pink

Hi Everyone!

The day has finally arrived...It's the first challenge at the I Love Digi Challenge blog and there is a prize to be won! Are you ready to participate in the joy of digi stamping?

Our sponsor this week is The Stamping Boutique and they have supplied the generous prize of 5 free digital images of the winners choice!! Our very first challenge is named Think Pink, and here is some pink colored inspiration in the form of a pink photo...

And my pink card! I used an image from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff. I love these little heart shaped cherries, they are so adorable. It comes from the set Love Grows Here which can be found in her shop at My Grafico.

My polka dotted background is made from a traditional stamp from PTI and the button embellishment is actually a punch! How clever is that?

Are you ready to get your pink on?

If you need more inspiration, visit the rest of the team below, then pop over to the I Love Digi Challenge blog and link up your creation for the chance to win 5 free digis from The Stamping Boutique! What are you waiting for?

Guest Designer:

Thanks for visiting and Happy Stamping!

Details not mentioned above-Paper: The Paper Company, Office Max, Markers: Bic Mark-Its, Copic, Punches: Martha Stewart, Marvy, Nesties, Ribbon and twine from my supplies.

Nice use of a range of techniques - border punches, digi stamps, rubber stamping and yet so clean and simple looking.

Mensch, klasse Karte :-) but you already knew that I love this card. I love the scallops and the two tone pinks. Awesome card. I'll have to see if I can whip something up without spilling more ink, lol.

This is a beautiful card! I would have never thought that button was a punch! It's great! That would be a really useful punch to have!
