Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Buttons and Bows

Hi Friends!

This week the design team for Lindsay's Stamp Stuff used the theme," Buttons and Bows" when designing their cards. I chose to use an image from one of the newest stamp sets, Birds and Branches for my card this week. Since I picked a bolder color scheme, this card has passed spring for me and went straight to summer! It has such a cheerful look.Buttons seem to be all the rage, as far as embellishing your greeting cards; and yes, I think they are adorable. They are, however, a challenge to mail. So, how great is it that Lindsay offers a button image in the Babies and Bows set? After printing, coloring, and cutting them out, I totally used them like regular buttons....Love that...less bulk! Lindsay is also offering a freebie set of sentiments that match this set. Click here for all the information for that.

Want more button and bow ideas? Check out the rest of the team...And don't forget, today is the last day for the sale at Lindsay's Stamp Stuff where holiday sets are 50% off.
