Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Exciting News

Good Monday Morning!

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day yesterday. We got to get together on Saturday night with my mother-in-law to celebrate the day, because we had Indians tickets for Sunday afternoon. My husband was going to take her, (she is a huge fan) but with her recent back issues, I was the default person. Thank goodness the rain moved out, and we has sun and clouds, but boy was it chilly in the wind!

There was a lot of extra activity at the ball park for the holiday, as well as special things for children. I wasn't clear on who all the extra mascots were (some from minor league teams around here), but here is Slider dancing with his mom to "Shake Your Groove Thing!" I even got some slippers with Sliders big head on them, as part of a free give away. Not sure how often I'll be sportin' those babies...LOL! No card from me today, but I'm excited to announce that I have been named to the DRS designs design team. Yay! I'm thrilled to be part of a group of talented ladies and if you stop by the store you will see their fantastic product line.

I can't wait to get started, but until then, you can check out the DRS designs blog for lots of crafty goodness using DRS stamps!

Thanks for the visit and c u soon ;)

P.S. For those who have prayed for my mother in law, there is news, both good and bad. Bad being, her back is fractured. Good news is we know what is wrong and are hopefully on
the right path for her to heal properly. There are lots more appointments this week, as well as trying to get in with a neurologist, so if you want to continue to pray, that would be great. I am thankful for her cheerful spirit throughout all of this.
